I never had heard about How Like a Winter, but this demo is really well done. The band (I think this is their debut) play an obscure metal, charming, with nearly doom shades, but never obsessing or boring. The intelligent use of the double voice, male (almost theatrical and sometimes growled) and female, enriches the songs of a surrealistic and oniric atmosphere. In some parts you may feel listening to the great "Forgotten Silence", because of the way songs are structured.
My best compliments for this little jewel, hoping that How Like a Winter will continue their career as they deserve to.
